Hall of Fame Recipients
Announced

The John Muir High School Hall of Fame Selection Committee is announcing the recipients for 2010; and they are:
Colonel Alfonso Oseguero, from the Class of 48 and Muir College class of 1952 selected for the category of Government Service.
Neal H. Brockmeyer, Esq., from the class of 1956 selected for the category of Community Service.
Dr. Gloria "Ginger" Cole, Ed.D, from the class of 1968 selected for the category of Education.
Susana Martinez-Stevenson from the class 1952 and Muir College 1953 selected for the category of Business.
Dr. Atilia Martinez-Stewart, M.D.,from the class of 1952 and the Muir College class of 1954 selected for the category of Science.
 
Details for all inductees will be posted in the Hall of Fame Section.

Digital Yearbooks Are Here!

   Hot off electronic press are the first set of digital yearbooks! The Alumni Association has commissioned Royal Imaging to reproduce the before now, not for sale yearbooks. These reproductions are a complete copy of the original yearbook.
So if you've lost your yearbook and we previously said that we had none for sale, well today is your lucky day. The first set of books  for sale are 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975 and 1995. More books will be digitized in the coming months. Again, only the years listed above are available in a digital format. The "books" are professionally digitized and published to DVD. They can be read by any computer operating system (MAC, PC, Linux), all software required to read the disk is included. The disk are only $25 each, including shipping (to the continental U.S. and Canada). Place your order NOW!

... the John Muir High School Alumni Association has created a memorial fund in his name. We proudly presented several scholarships at the Seniors Award Assembly on Friday, June 11th at the Rufus Meade Auditorium at Muir.

The jazz band, ROTC color guards and choir added to the quality of the program.

Larry Tharp presented the $1,000 John Zweers Scholarship to Patricia Gonzalez.

Scott Phelps presented two $750 Scholarships in honor of Nettie Piggee to Yessenia Alvarado and Michael Aseneaux.

Board member, Doug Kosobayashi, presented two $1,000 Charles Bradford Scholarships to Ysennia Alvarado and Tori Williams.
